Paying Your Rent
Rent is usually paid by standing order. Forms are available on request or can be downloaded here. You will need to instruct your bank or building society to set up this facility when your tenancy or lease begins and may need to arrange to increase the amount paid when your rent is reviewed.
You are also now able to make payments to us online through AllPay using your debit card. To visit their secure site, please click on the logo below. You will need to have your payment card ready, as it contains the reference you will need to use in order to make payments.
If you would rather make a payment via telephoneYou can call AllPay on 0844 557 8321 or English Rural on 020 7820 7930. Please note that, as with online payments, you will need to have your payment card details to hand and additionally you will only be able to use your debit card. We do not accept payments by credit card and should you try to do this you will be unable to complete the payment.
If you wish to pay at the Post Office or local Paypoint branch
In the same way as with your previous payment card, you are still able to do this – details of outlets near to you where the cards are accepted and can be found on the AllPay website here. To discuss other payment methods or rental issues please contact our accounts department: 020 7820 7930.
Remember to contact us if you experience any difficulties with
payments or if your circumstances have changed, as your tenancy could be
at risk if your rent account is not up to date.
We may also be able to
suggest ways in which you can find help.
You may also be entitled to benefits which may assist with your rent – around £ 9.9bn of means tested benefit was unclaimed last year. You may wish to visit www.entitledto.co.uk to see if you are eligible for any help with your rent.
